Project Overview

Rambura Safaris is a tour company based in Kampala, Uganda. The company was founded in 2018 by two friends who had a passion for travel. Rambura Safaris offers a wide range of tours, including gorilla trekking, chimpanzee tracking, game drives, and boat safaris.

Project Goals

The goal of the project was to create a new website for Rambura Safaris that would be more user-friendly and easier to navigate. The new website would also need to be optimized for mobile devices.

Project Challenges

One of the biggest challenges of the project was that Rambura Safaris had a very limited budget. This meant that we had to be creative and resourceful in order to find ways to save money.

Project Solutions

We were able to save money by using a free website builder and by finding affordable hosting. We also used free stock images and graphics.

Project Results

The new website for Rambura Safaris was a success. The website is now more user-friendly and easier to navigate. It is also optimized for mobile devices. The new website has helped Rambura Safaris to attract new customers and to grow its business.

Project Wit

We added a bit of wit to the project by including a section on the website called “The Wild Side of Uganda.” This section features stories about the amazing wildlife that can be found in Uganda, such as lions, elephants, and chimpanzees.

We also used humor throughout the website, such as:

  • A tagline that says, “Go wild in Uganda!”
  • A blog post about the history of gorilla trekking that includes a joke about how gorillas are actually just big, hairy humans.
  • A video that shows how to spot a chimpanzee in the wild, with humorous bloopers.

Project Conclusion

We are proud of the work that we did on the Rambura Safaris project. We believe that the new website is a valuable asset to the company. We are confident that the new website will help Rambura Safaris to continue to grow and succeed.

  • Offer a “Wildlife of the Month” contest where customers can submit their photos of wildlife in Uganda for a chance to win a prize.
